Peoria County Deputy asked that residents be cautious when starting the vehicle and leaving unattended. Unattended and unlocked vehicles are easy targets for theft or burglary. Also, residents should check credentials of independent contractors or service providers before retaining and allowing access to your home and property.

The new 2015 Peoria County Community Health Indicator Report was reviewed at the 4-20-15 Board of Health meeting. The report examines multiple factors of population health and provides statistics on causes of death and illness.
