Purpose:  Township Budget Hearing Meeting

Present:  Shawn Garner, Supervisor

Cam Parr, Trustee 

Cindy Greene, Trustee

Luke Harvey, Trustee

Adam Molohon, Trustee

Mary Sundermeyer, Clerk

Other Officials and Township Staff Present:  

Frank Sturm II, Road Commissioner

Jacob Molohon, Road District crew

Mark Brabant, Assessor

Deputy Ben Davison, Community Police

Others In Attendance:  2 Residents

Call To Order:  Supervisor Garner called the meeting to order at 6:20 pm

Presentation of Township Budget: 

Shawn presented the budget for 2025-26 to the Trustees. 

Public Input: None

Discuss and Vote:  Shawn presented the Township Budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year. Shawn explained that the increase in the budget is due to the upcoming purchase of a new township building and garage. Cam made a motion to adopt Ordinance TB 26-27 for $1,392,250.00 as presented. Cindy seconded. The ordinance was passed by a unanimous roll call vote. Shawn – Aye, Cindy – Aye, Cam – Aye, Luke – Aye, Adam – Aye. This ordinance will be filed at the Peoria County Courthouse.
