The board of Trustees met at the Medina Township Office
located at 10628 N. Galena Road, Mossville, Illinois on June 9th, 2021
Purpose: Road District Budget Hearing – Fiscal Year 2021 – 2022
Present: Shawn E. Garner, Supervisor
Cam Parr, Trustee
Mike Molohon, Trustee
Frank Gerke, Trustee
Cindy Greene, Trustee
Absent: Mary Sundermeyer, Clerk
Other Township Officials and Staff Present:
Frank Sturm II, Road Commissioner
Others Present: 1 resident present.
Public Input: Supervisor Garner received no request for public comment.
Call To Order: The hearing was called to order at 6:00 PM by Supervisor Garner who announced that the proposed Road District Budget has been on display at the Town hall located at 10628 N. Galena Rd. – Mossville, Illinois for 30 days, as required by State Statute.
The Road District Budget for April 1, 2021 thru March 31st of 2022 was then presented by Road Commissioner, Frank Sturm II, as follows:
Proposed Amounts Appropriated For Road District Use
General Road Fund $561,900
Audit Fund $0
Insurance Fund $20,000
I.M.R.F. $34,000
Social Security Fund $20,000
Permanent Road Fund $942,500
Joint Construction or Repair of
Bridges–Joint Exp County Fund $183,500
Total Appropriations $1,761,900
Budget Ordinance No. RD 21-22 Adopted: Supervisor Garner moved to adopt the Road District Budget, as presented; seconded by Trustee Parr. Discussion followed. Any questions asked were addressed and answered satisfactorily. There being no further inquiries, a Roll Call Vote was then taken by Trustee with Trustees, Parr, Greene, Molohon and Gerke and Supervisor Garner voting “Aye”. The motion passed unanimously.
Adjournment: Trustee Molohon then moved that the hearing for the Road District Budget be closed; seconded by Trustee Greene followed by a unanimous “Aye” vote. The Road District Budget Hearing adjourned at 6:25 PM.
