Approval of Minutes: Mary presented the minutes from Regular Township Board Meeting of July 2025. Shawn made a motion to approve the minutes, Cindy seconded. The minutes were approved by a unanimous voice vote.
Community Policing Report: Deputy Davison gave the report for July 2025. There were 60 reports made involving 33 reports of crimes (22 original crimes). There were also 100 traffic stops made in the township. Brighton Woods is under new management, and the owner has a good rapport with our officer. Residents on Hickory Grove Rd would like a speed measuring sign on the street to slow cars down as there are many families with young children. The deputy will arrange this. The neighbors on Medina St are concerned with a vacant house. Ben has verified that no one is squatting in that location. Ben has spoken to the out-of-town owner of an empty house on River Beach Rd and she will be addressing conditions of the house.
Public Input: A resident of Parkside Ln reported that a neighbor has still not mowed his lawn. Shawn had previously sent him a letter notifying him of his obligation to mow. Shawn will arrange for the lawn to be mowed and bill the homeowner.

Supervisor Shawn Garner:
- Investment Report: The report ending on August 13th, 2025, was previously presented to the board.
- There was one General Assistance (GA) claim reported. This resident did not meet the monetary requirements to qualify for assistance. The income requirements dictate that the resident must earn less than $450/month.
- There are no cases before the Plan Commission.
- The audit for the 2024-2025 FY is ongoing with Tjerpe & Tennison CPAs, LLC. They may report findings at the September or October Monthly Board meeting.
- Shawn would like to get some saplings to plant at the ball field. The ash trees are dying and new trees would replace those. He would like to get some maple trees and maybe some free trees from the Arbor Society. Luke suggested getting some Linden trees as they are good for the bees.

- RA Cullinan & Son will begin tilling tomorrow on 2 roads in The Lanes.
