Call To Order: Supervisor Garner called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm
Approval of Minutes: Mary presented the minutes from Regular Township Board Meeting of August 2025. Shawn made a motion to approve the minutes, Cindy seconded. The minutes were approved by a unanimous voice vote.
Community Policing Report: Deputy Davison gave the report for August 2025. There were 46 reports made involving 26 reports of crimes (14 original crimes). There were also 109 traffic stops made in the township. The residents of Bennett Ct want a speed trailer placed on their street to stop a chronic speeder. Please lock your car doors.
Public Input: A resident brought the issue of license plate reading cameras to the board. Flock is one of the companies that provides these. They read more than just the license plates, and they sell collected data to interested parties. The township does not have any such cameras.
Old Business: None
New Business: IVC Travel Softball has asked for money to make improvements to the Medina Park ball fields. In the past, we have paid for or provided material with the IVC Travel Softball providing volunteer labor. The board would like them to come to the next board meeting and explain what they intend to do. Shawn made a motion to pay for the materials needed for these improvements in the amount of $3150.03 and $375 from SiteOne Landscape Supply. Cam seconded. A roll call vote was taken: Shawn – Aye, Cam – Aye, Cindy – Aye, Adam – Aye. The motion passes.
